Third Grade News for March
Dates to Remember:
*Sunday, March 9- Daylight Savings time begins, "spring forward".
*Wednesday, March 12- Last day for Ms. Collins, Ms. Hardison's student teacher
*Thursday, March 13- Spring pictures and Class group pictures
*Wednesday, March 19- Report Cards go home.
*Thursday, March 20- Easter party @ 1:30. Students will need to bring a dozen candy-filled plastic eggs for our party.
*Friday, March 21- Monday March 24- No School
*Friday, March 28- deadline to reach the Sounds reading homerun.
* April 7- 11 state achievement testing
It is hard to believe that it is almost time for our state achievement test , T -CAP. Over the
next few weeks, we will be working hard in class
reviewing and practicing for this test. You can help us by making sure your child gets a
good breakfast and gets plenty of rest during our testing week. It is also important that
your child not miss school during this week. Please check ~ for a dentist's or doctor's
appointment. If your child has one scheduled during this week, please make sure it is
after lunch or reschedule it for another day. Thank you again for your continued help
and support .
We would also like to welcome Mrs. Courtemanche back after a having baby Jacob.
Congratulations to the entire family and we are glad to have her back.
